File A Case

The arbitration process with benchmark arbitration is initiated by the parties.   The parties will furnish their pleadings and the arbitration agreement to benchmark arbitration.  After the receipt of this information, the case manager will contact the parties regarding the details of arbitration.

Matters that have not been filed with a court, parties can submit identifying case information and pleadings to Benchmark. 

Once the process is initiated with a case manager, Benchmark will request payment of the administrative fee through billing to the responsible party.

Benchmark Arbitration charges a one-time non-refundable administrative fee of $4,000.00 regardless of the number of parties or the amount in controversy involved.  The other fees are arbitrator specific and will be set forth on the arbitrator's page.

Upon receipt of the administrative fee, Benchmark Arbitration will send the initial list of five potential arbitrators to the parties to begin the selection process.  After the parties complete the selection process, a preliminary scheduling hearing will be set with the parties and the arbitrator.
